Terrorism in Middle East

DISEC (Disarmament and International Security Committee) is the one of the main six general assembly committies. It deals with disarmament, global issues, and peace topics that threaten international security.

Before the establishment of the UN Security Council, the DISEC was formed due to factors such as the devastation of vast areas of the world and the disruption of economic relations during World War II. The main goal of these committees is to prevent armament, minimize states' perceptions of threats, and pave the way for world peace.
